Thanks for Visiting My Site
Here's a bit about me. I started designing and creating bears in
1992 at the age of 14.
I have never taken a class or had any professional teaching in Bear making,
I have learned every thing on my own by trial and error. I am now 23
and have been keeping my self busy with creating new bears and other animals
and my full time job working at my fathers business.
I'm formerly from the city of Edmonton. (which
I must say is a great city. It holds one of the most spectacular malls in
the world!)
In June of 1996 we moved to an acreage 30 minutes from Edmonton after living
in the same place since I was Born. We being my family including: my Mother,
Father and Brother. As
well as our pets: Four dogs, a cat, a parrot, reptiles
and my Japanese koi (fish for those of you who don't know).
All the bears and other Creatures are designed and made one at a time by me.
My bears are always
made from Mohair or Alpaca... Maybe the odd synthetic will creep in from
time to time.
The bears have either glass or shoe button eyes. Stuffing will usually vary
in each design. Typically I use:
Polyester, Excelsior, Plastic pellets, Glass pellets, or steel pellets.
My bears and other Creations can be found in collections all over the world and have been featured in many Magazines. Including:
Teddy Bear Review, Teddy Bear and Friends, Teddy Today, Mary Beth's Teddy Bears and More,
and Teddy Bear Club international.
Many of my bears are one of a kinds but I haveand limited editions
also available
