How-To Guide: Accessing CyberStart E-mails

Q. How do I access the CyberStart Emails I Keep Hearing About?

A. This is a good question and one that we hear a lot on the support line. You can access the CyberStart weekly email from any CyberStart children’s computer and some administrative computers. You will need to log in as STAFF on the children’s PCs as the KIDs login does not permit access to the email account.

• Log on to Staff desktop. User name: staff  Password: cyber
• Click on the OUTLOOK ICON on the QuickLaunch Tool Bar (next to START button) or (or Click on the START button, Point to PROGRAMS, MS OFFICE, OUTLOOK) *
• Click on MAIL/Inbox. You will see the contents of your inbox.
• Click on TOOLS, Send/Receive, Send/Receive All to send and receive mail from the server.

*Right-click on Outlook, point to Send To, and Click on Desktop to create Shortcut to Outlook on your Desktop. (See Quick Clicks)
