How-To Guide: Creating an Agenda with a Wizard Template
To create an agenda you can use the Microsoft Word Wizard and template:
- From the File menu, click on New.
- A New Document task pane will open to the right of the new, blank word document.
- Under the New from template, click General Templates. A Templates dialog box will appear.
- Click on the Other Documents tab.
- Double-click on the Agenda Wizard. An Agenda Wizard dialog box will appear.
- Click Next> and follow the steps in the Wizard.
- Choose the style you want for your agenda. Click Next>.
- Type in the Date, Time, Title and Location of your meeting. Click Next>.
- Check the headings you want to use. Click Next>.
- Select the names you want on the agenda. Click Next>.
- Type in the Agenda Topic, the person to handle the topic, and number of minutes needed to discuss the topic. Click Add. The item will appear in the dialog box for your review.
- Continue the above process until all the agenda items are listed.
- You can move the agenda items up or down in the agenda by clicking on Move Up or Move Down. You can also Remove an item.
- Click Next>.
- If you would like to be able to record minutes on the agenda, click the Yes radio button. Click on Next>.
- Click Finish.
