The American Academy of Pediatrics has Seasonal Safety Tips on a variety of topics for child safety throughout the year.
There is also a Children’s Health Topics section with additional injury prevention and safety tips.
Color Me Healthy
The Color Me Healthy website offers recipes, songs, resources and newsletters for parents about helping your preschoolers eat smart and be more active.
Healthy Child Healthy World
Healthy Child Healthy World is dedicated to protecting the health and well being of children from harmful environmental exposures. They have the 5 Easy Steps plan with safety checklists, what to do, safe solutions, and research studies for each step. Step 4 is Shop Smart – eat more organic and healthy foods.
Raising Children Network
The Raising Children Network, the Australian Parenting Website, provides information to parents and others with the day-to-day decisions about raising children. The website has topics concerning Health and Daily Care, Nutrition and Fitness, and Safety. Nutrition and Fitness covers nutrition basics, healthy eating, food and recipes, and physical activity, while Safety has safety basics, prevention and first aid, and safety indoors, outdoors, car and equipment.
